Our entertainment includes: The Dewy Rose Band, Central Florida Sounds of Freedom Marching Band and Color Guard. As well as KC Sound Express DJs and Daryl Stroble. There will be an all hands meeting for anyone who wishes to volunteer to help on Oct. 25th 2014 at Volusia Pride Festival 2014. The meeting will be held at 2090 S. Nova Rd., Ste. AA04, S. Daytona, FL at 6pm. If you want to volunteer to help out please show up at this meeting. We will be going over tasks, flow, and organization of the day. It is going to be the best Volusia Pride Festival yet.
- Saturday (Sept. 6th) the Volusia Pride 2014 Organizers and Volunteers will be meeting at Old Fort Park in New Smyrna Beach to walk the park and get a sense of the space we will be in this year. The group will assemble at the park at 10:00 AM. The address of Old Fort Park is: 115 Julia Street, New Smyrna Beach.
- Starting Monday, Sept 8th: Organizer/Volunteer Meetings will begin meeting every Monday night at 6 pm until the Oct. 25th Volusia Pride 2014 Festival. We will continue to meet at: 2090 S. Nova Rd., Suite AA04, South Daytona. We will endeavor to keep the meetings short and informative so everyone can get back to the rest of their busy lives.
Our Simply Barbra event was a grand success! It was a wonderful afternoon for everyone who attended. We wish to thank all our sponsors for their support and making it possible for all the proceeds from the ticket sales go to PFLAG and to support Volusia Pride 2014. Well done everyone who volunteered and helped out, you were amazing!
