The Volusia Pride Pageant is a celebration of talent, creativity, and community leadership. Each year, contestants from across the region take the stage to compete for the titles of Mister, Miss, and Mx Volusia Pride, representing the vibrant and diverse spirit of our LGBTQ+ community. From high-energy performances to stunning evening wear, this event showcases the artistry and passion of entertainers while uplifting the voices and visibility of our community.

Winners serve as ambassadors for Volusia Pride throughout the year appearing at events, engaging with the community, and helping us continue to build spaces rooted in peace, love, and community. This is more than a pageant. It’s a platform, a celebration, and a legacy.

We are looking for contestants who are passionate about performance, creativity, and representing the LGBTQ+ community with pride. Whether you are an experienced entertainer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, this is your opportunity to shine.

Introducing the Volusia Pride Junior Ambassador

Volusia Pride is proud to introduce a new opportunity for emerging youth leaders in our community:

The Volusia Pride Junior Ambassador

This non-cash title is designed for individuals ages 14–20 who are passionate about self-expression, leadership, and representing the next generation of LGBTQ+ voices and allies.

The Junior Ambassador will be crowned during the Volusia Pride Pageant and will serve as a visible representative of youth leadership throughout their reign, participating in community events and Pride programming across the region.

Entry is open to participants ages 14–20 with no entry fee required. The titleholder will receive a crown and sash. Contestants will compete in the categories of Presentation, Talent, and Evening Wear, with no interview component. Throughout their reign, the Junior Ambassador will have opportunities for appearances and bookings at Volusia Pride events and in the broader community. Participation is limited to three contestants total, and spaces will be filled on a first accepted basis.

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience, build confidence, and step into a leadership role within a supportive and affirming community.

Spots are limited. Only 3 Junior Ambassador contestants will be accepted.
